Doesn't Cruz already have like $7m in his campaign accounts?
Though he trailed O'Rourke in this fundraising period, Cruz maintains the cash advantage heading into the primary election and closed the six-week period with about $6 million in his coffers, compared to O’Rourke’s $4.9 million. The finance report is required ahead of the upcoming primary. O’Rourke — who has disavowed aid from political action committees — said in a prepared statement: "The grassroots momentum of our people-powered campaign has shown its full force across the state in the first 45 days of 2018, and it will continue to do so as Texans prove they're more than a match for the PACs and special interests."https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2018/02/23/ted-cruz-trails-senate-challenger-beto-orourke-six-week-fundraising-haul-lot
