Man arrested after naked workout at apartment complex gym, cops say

A man faces an indecent exposure and other charges in Orange County after working out at his apartment complex’s gym while naked from head to toe, an arrest report says.

A leasing consultant at the Andover Place Apartments, off Rio Grande Avenue in southeast Orange, told deputies she was informed of a naked man in the complex’s gym just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The consultant arrived at the gym to find Kerry Haynes, 57,a tenant, who was naked and “utilizing every machine in the gym,” the report says.

The consultant alerted a maintenance worker, who told deputies he arrived to find Haynes riding a stationary bicycle. He was nude, without even socks or shoes, the worker said. Informed that the police were coming, Haynes immediately left the gym, the worker told deputies.

After deputies arrived at the complex, they were flagged down by a man who told them “the same naked guy” was lying in the grass and masturbating near a pond in the community, the report said.

Yep. I've been in those novelty shops with all the crazy hot sauce labels. Kind of passe' really. My ex-wife's family bought me one of those. I think it was called, 'Hell's Tears' (they are all associated with hell or the devil) something like that. Instead of keeping it around as decoration, like you are expected to do, I opened it an tasted it. It was very similar to Tabasco. No big deal at all. They paid for a label. The hot sauce was generic.


But, back on topic, tell me Mrs. @RoosGirl  what do you like to drink? I'm a pretty solid Kentucky straight bourbon guy. I'm guessing you go for Sherry or maybe Schnapps. You don't strike me as a white wine lady.

Lived in an apartment that had a lot of families with children. The kids basically lived in the swimming pool all summer. I never went near it for the reasons being discussed here. I don't know directly, but I'm guessing the pool water was 20% pee pee.


Never could get used to the idea of swimming in a public pool. Take a communal bath with all your neighbors and their kids? Ummmmmm....NO. No thanks.

Mrs. Liberty hates Denny's, so we don't go there, but I used to love the place.  That breakfast you mentioned is one of my favorites, but even though they say they do breakfast all day I learned to stick to morning if I want that.  They turn the griddle up after the breakfast crowd, and they always ruin the eggs.

I've only been there once before midnight or after noon. So, I wouldn't know. That one time I was there for lunch I had something called a Fiesta Bowl, I think? It was a SouthWest grill kind of thing. It was OK. Not great.

I don't understand how anyone could not like Denny's. Compared to MREs or the chow tent, Denny's is 5 stars.

I just don't think their food tastes very good.  I like to eat out at places that either the food tastes better than what I can cook or it's some style that I can't easily recreate, like Japanese teppanyaki.

In my late teenage days after a drunken weekend with friends in Corpus, we stopped in San Antonio at a Denny’s to feed our hangovers.  I made the mistake of ordering “Biscuits and Gravy”.  The waitress asked me if i wanted the gravy on the side.  I replied that I preferred it on top of the biscuits, but either way was fine.

I got dinner rolls with brown gravy on the top.   

I almost lost the Gatorade I had previously guzzled when the smell and sight hit me in the face.  That was my first and last trip to Denny’s.  I hear they serve redneck food these days, but I haven’t been back to find out.
