The former Drexel University professor who made headlines after he tweeted last year that he wished for white genocide for Christmas has now accepted a position with New York University.
On December 28, George Ciccariello-Maher shared a Facebook post claiming he was resigning from Drexel at the end of the year. He claimed his decision to resign was due to “nearly a year of harassment by right-wing, white supremacist media outlets and internet mobs,†who supported “death threats and threats of violence directed against me and my family.â€
