Icy cold conditions freeze waterfall in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WCCO) - It was a beautiful sight at a waterfall in Minneapolis - courtesy of the bitter cold in the city.

Icy cold conditions have turned the Minnehaha Falls into a frozen winter wonderland.

The popular attraction froze over due to temperatures hovering in the single digits over the past few days.

I assume that it freezes pretty much every year so is this just earlier than "normal"?
