In Their Own Words (on "climate change")

All is lost!
December 6, 2017 by admin

From depression to substance abuse to suicide and post-traumatic stress disorder, growing bodies of research in the relatively new field of psychology of global warming suggest that climate change will take a pretty heavy toll on the human psyche as storms become more destructive and droughts more prolonged.

For your everyday environmentalist, the emotional stress suffered by a rapidly changing Earth can result in some pretty substantial anxieties.

Two years ago, Camille Parmesan, a professor at Plymouth University and the University of Texas at Austin, became so “professionally depressed” that she questioned abandoning her research in climate change entirely.

“I don’t know of a single scientist that’s not having an emotional reaction to what is being lost,” Parmesan is quoted saying in the National Wildlife Federation’s 2012 report.

I think Camille is one of the ones who signed the "AGW deniers should be prosecuted" letter a few years back.

The Global Warming crowd has a serious dilemma. They cannot explain why their dire forecasts and predictions did not come true after more than a decade. They spun a tale of imminent doom that we would see after 10 years unless drastic change occurred. They did not get the control they wanted and now their unfulfilled predictions are coming back to haunt them.

They were so embarrassed by the lack of noticeable warming(and subsequent ridicule every time we had a record cooling) that they changed the scheme to the inane Global Climate Change.

Sounds like the "Scientists" have too heavy an emotional investment on the results of their research.  Terrible news for science.  How on Earth do they expect to get accurate (or even convincing) results like that?

It is a good thing that our ancestors (Cro Magnans and a little bit Neanderthal) were not such crybaby wusses.

They had to brave out repeated ice ages, then ice melting. Back and forth, north then south.

The peoples that braved this challenge, went on to be the people with the most advanced societies.
