UN makes global bid to end 'rampant' pollution
December 1, 2017 by Mariëtte Le Roux

Environment ministers from about 100 countries gather in Nairobi next week to issue a clarion call against air, land and water pollution blamed for some nine million deaths in 2015.

Ministers under the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA) will finalise a global declaration vowing to combat "rampant pollution" as a growing threat to human life, economies and ecosystems.

Seven million of those deaths are caused by car exhaust, factory fumes and indoor cooking, according to the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), which hosts the assembly.

"Indoor cooking?"  They've truly lost their freakin' minds.

So almost all the deaths occur in third world countries.

You know the solution will not be to cut back exhausts from those countries unless the UN extracts money from the other countries to pay for this.

This is all about taking other people's money.

What's the big problem, I thought these same people were bitching about overpopulation being bad for Gaia? If they stop all the deaths from guns, war and pollution they will really have to step up abortions to make up the difference.

Convenient, isn't it, that's the universal balm of the UN.
