Conservative Media Figures Reportedly Circling Wagons to Fight Trump: ‘The Republican Resistance’
by Joe DePaolo | 3:22 pm, November 1st, 2017

So-called “Never Trump” conservatives have been vocal in their opposition of President Donald Trump ever since the beginning of his campaign. Now, it appears as though many of them have organized, and are ready to act.

According to the Washington Post, a group of prominent libertarians and conservatives have been getting together every few weeks as part of what they call the “Meeting of the Concerned.” And the group — which includes such prominent Never Trumpers as Weekly Standard co-founder Bill Kristol, and Mediaite columnist John Ziegler — is now taking its first formal steps to oppose Trump.

Bill Kristof is conservative?

Look, I'm not that happy to have Trump as president, but really, what are all these little groups going to do?  They talk about impeachable offenses.  Just what are they exactly?    Acting like a 2 year old and reaming out your enemies on Twitter are not impeach able offenses.

Until and unless all these malcontents can provide evidence of impeachable offenses, they should all sit down, shut up and make the best of this presidency.  We all survived 8 years of Obama.  We can survive 4 years of Trump.

Quitcherbitchin.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
And here I thought the "moderate" Republicans, the GOPe were the problem.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

This is a list of RINO losers and half wits who pulled out all the stops to beat Donny last year. Hell, one of them ran for President and turned out to be a crook running a scam.

This story is a joke.

Gotcha shakin' in yer boots, do they? :silly: :silly: :silly: :silly:

Just kidding. It is amazing what lengths people will go to to be 'relevant', though.

While I certainly understand why anyone would have a problem with Trump's style on many occasions, what possible problem could anyone calling themselves a 'conservative' have with the substance of what he's done since being inaugurated, relative to his recent predecessors? These 'conservatives' motives are suspect.
