Piers Morgan: Trump should invite Kaepernick to the WH and apologize

British commentator Piers Morgan called Monday for President Trump to apologize and change his mind about NFL players who kneel during the national anthem as a form of protest.

Morgan wrote in a Daily Mail column that, while he had initially also opposed now-NFL free agent Colin Kaepernick’s protest against racial injustice during the national anthem, he had eventually changed his mind.

He wrote that he began to view Kaepernick more favorably after he switched from sitting during the national anthem to kneeling a few games into the start of his protest.

Kaepernick should ask Trump for permission to come to the White House so he can apologize to the American people for his unpatriotic asinine and egotistic behavior.

Piers Morgan was elected to what office?

Most of the slaves in the American colonies were brought here, when Britain ran the place.

Looking at Britain today, they seem hardly to be a model for integrating the former hunter-gatherers from the yon hinterlands, into modern civil societies.

How about if the executive branch, aka Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces, stays out of all this pop culture/sports mess in general and stick to the job they are Constitutionally obligated to do.

Piers Morgan should probably apologize to the world for his sublime stupidity.  But lefties never do apologize.... for anything.

Yeah, like that’s gonna happen.

By the way, don’t know how many of you are aware but some NFL games will be played in London and Mexico City as part of NFL’s International Series of games. Yesterday the Ravens and the Jaguars played at Wembley Stadium, London.

As far as I know, no player took a knee for the host country’s national anthem – they all stood.

Hmm, I’m thinking there might have been some slave trading in Britain’s history.
