A Revolutionary War-era knife, which was found in the rubble of a former fort, is just the latest stunning find at the site.

The knife was unearthed last week during an archaeological dig at Colonial Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City, Michigan.

Robert Rogers was in charge of Fort Michilimackinac (Pre revolution) for a while but the British relieved him of his command after it was found that he was shirking his duties. He was off exploring and seeking the northwest passage.

He was a genuine badass who gave us our rules of ranging and guerrilla warfare.
