Strange you mentioned that.  About 5 years ago, I ordered a Makers Mark Neat, and the the twenty something bartenderess brought out my drink with 95% ice with MM as flavoring. 

I asked the young lady if she knew what a "neat" drink was.  She responded...  Yeah silly, it means it's not a mixed drink.    :thud:

What can you do but send it back.  The ice already melted to the point of it  being "Cutty" by the time you got it?

For a Speysider give me a Balvenie 12 year bourbon first fill.  Balvenie's best when it's not messed around with rum finishes and other such faddishness.
