COLLINSVILLE • Just how early did Native Americans form a city at Cahokia Mounds? And what decisions went into the city’s design?
Archaeologists excavating areas of the state historic site are trying to find answers to those questions and more, and visitors to the landmark on Saturday were treated a glimpse at some of the work they’re doing.
