Black Unemployment Rate Nearly Lowest It's Been Since 2000

(CNSNews.com) -- Although the national unemployment rate for July was 4.3%, the unemployment rate for black workers was nearly double that of white workers, but it was also at a rate for blacks not seen since December 2000, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics [1](BLS).

In addition, the June unemployment rate for blacks of 7.1% was nearly at a level only seen once in the last 45 years -- 7.0% in April 2000.

Won't matter

Even though the Obama years were some of the worse for them economically, they are still reflexive "D" voters
"I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them." Barry Goldwater
