Also nowadays people can make a gun out of anything.   Just yesterday I watched a video in which a man took a bolt and made it into a pistol,  complete with rifling in the barrel,   and he used no fancy tools.

9 times out of 10 they're nutcases driven by outside rhetoric and have no real political opinions of their own. They tend to latch on to something in the final weeks or months before they act as if some great secret had been revealed to them.

The volume of threats s one of the reasons my job includes waking Drs, Nurses, Techs, and receptionists to their cars. Just yesterday the daytime porter warned me to keep an eye out for some clown they arrested in the lobby. He was apparently standing in the lobby yelling about Obamacare funding terrorism by way of all these "A-Rab" doctors. (who are mostly Indian) He's likely been turned loose by this morning. Before I hired in they had a guy rooting through the trash looking for aborted babies. The closest thing they do to abortion is chemotherapy and physical therapy. The rest of the building is dedicated to medical scanning like MRIs, CT scans, X rays, and ultrasound.

I was wrong it was not a random nutjob. A nutjob, but a politically motivated one. Leftists are getting angrier and more violent. These incidents are becoming more common from them, too.

I constantly see people referring to the 20 Trillion dollar national debt,   but seldom noticing the 120 trillion dollar unfunded liabilities created by US Government social programs.   

The above board 20 trillion is the lesser of our potential troubles. 
 

Not saying with 100% certainty obviously, but this is the most anger and polarization I have seen in my lifetime since 1968.  I just hope the it doesn't end up with an 1860 feel.

The 1860 thing never really ended.   It is what created the Federal Leviathan in the first place,  and we've had overbearing government ever since then.

No matter the motive, we probably won't get to hear it. The MSM will revert to narratives about guns. This will be a "Ha ha ha. You got what you deserved for opposing gun control" moment for them.
The motive of the gunman is just an inconvenient optic.

As we have been engaging in the debate about deliberate media censorship in another thread,   this is a good time to once more bring this up.   


Conservatives running the broadcasting transmitters would focus on the climate of hatred created by the left and punctuated by the acts of Kathy Griffin and that Play in New York. 


Liberals will of course focus on Gun Control.   


The American people will be fed the Liberal version,  and it will reinforce these ideas for some of them.

Publicly the Left will scream and yell for gun control and demand safe spaces from 'broad brush accusations' and decrying the attack on freedom of speech while heralding this Revolutionista as a LION of the People and openly wishing for more of 'them' to follow the example he set on their own sickening social sites.

This may possibly become a trigger event for a lot of nasty stuff to shortly follow.

The civil society is unraveling.  Because this is not just a lone nutcase deciding he has to go and kill elected officials he says are 'taking down the country' -  This is a MOVEMENT that has people on both the Left and the Right talking about each other as 'enemies'.

Civil societies never come back from that brink that we have already surpassed.

Yeah, but that middle is shrinking rapidly.  And its not just what you call internet screamers.  Think about it, this country elected Donald Trump.  How rational is that?  A crash or a few more high profile events like today could blow the lid on this steam cooker.

Let us hope this trend continues and requires no further action on our part to marginalize the Liberal controlled media. 

But I wouldn't count on it.   Internet Media conglomerates are already censoring on line commentary with which they disagree,  and they more or less own the bulk of the internet.
