Chicago Alert: 10 Shot, 2 Dead At Memorial For Another Man Who Was Shot And Killed

This story is to Chicago as a “Drunk Man Beats Wife To Death With Alligator” story is to Florida: it simply couldn’t have happened anywhere else. While mourning the shooting death of a man, 10 people were shot with two killed. Amazingly enough, the city’s strict gun control laws didn’t stop any of this from happening.
USA Today reports that 26-year-old Daniel Cardova was found shot to death early Sunday morning in Chicago’s Brighton Park neighborhood. Later Sunday evening, Cardova’s friends and family gathered for a memorial and all hell broke loose.
