With Sling ROKU and HULU, I discovered that I really didn't need it anyway.
They made a mistake by showing me I do not need them anymore.

Do you or one of your kids have Amazon Prime?  Cheap/easy way to add to viewing menu.

Never had cable (not available in my area) but I did have the pleasure of telling AT&T (Direct TV) to KMA a couple of years ago.

That's where I am most of the time, is Prime. I pay for Prime for shipping purposes, so the TV and movies are just a perk... But I use it like crazy.

Also currently on Hulu, but just for my annual dose of Justified. I will drop them at the end of the month again.

Currently have ...
HULU - watch it a lot
Prime - watch now and then, it is mostly for shipping
NetFlix - because, who doesn't have NF
Paramount - mostly for all the Sci-Fi/Star Trek stuff
ROKU channels
YouTube on ROKU - watch it a lot

And, I just got Sling yesterday. Sling is an adequate replacement for cable TV for me. Never watched much cable anyway.

Fox News + History Trvl shows and TruTv show and all the other shows I got used to watching.

The irony is, cable TV is losing subscribers so they are raising prices to compensate. It does not work that way in business. All the price hikes are just going to lose even more customers, like me. I am glad they did it. I am in a better place without them.
