Don't change the subject by bringing up Clinton. We are talking about Trump. My 25+ years evaluating human behavior leads me to believe he will start a war, just like I said. We are already in the danger zone of war since he took office. It will get worse. I won't argue about it - it is what it is.
1. Uhhhhhhhhhhhh . . . Given the last SElection . . . and your bone-marrow hostility to Trump, I know of no balanced, rational way to discuss Trump's stuff without comparing it to the only alternative presented--i.e. Shrillery. You are certainly welcome to ignore such comments on my part. I just consider them essential for a balanced perspective.
2. The fact remains that Shrillery is far more off her rocker; far more violent (witness books documenting her rages, throwing objects etc.); Benghazi; the list of folks murdered in her/their behalf; etc. etc. etc. Therefore, ranting about Trump's carp is, in large measure, more or less moot to absurd AT LEAST BECAUSE the only alternative would have been MUCH WORSE, regardless of how bad Trump turns out to be.
3. A good part of me wonders if you are honest with the gal in your mirror, if you are more than a little surprised at how Trump has mellowed and how reasonable, perceptive, wise many of his public pronouncements have been . . . as well as how wise some of his behind the scenes international doings have been. Or, perhaps your hostility is soooo extreme against him that you have not been able to perceive such qualities in his doings due to your intense biases about him.
3.1 My impressions from some of your earlier pronouncements on Trump were that you expected him to be and land the nation and planet into a horrendous pile of horse biscuits well before now. I hope you aren't disappointed that such has not yet come true.
4. I don't expect him to be other than wiser and generally more reasonable. I think you negate, discount, dismiss or ignore subtle to not-so-subtle behavioral etc. evidence that could otherwise moderate your hostility to him re his problems/ character/ personality. He seems to have been somewhat of a fast learner on the job.
4.1 And, his daughter, wife and son-in-law seem to be having a redemptive influence on him. Given your earliest assessments--if they were as true as you insisted, such influences would not have scratched his surface, meaningfully, significantly, if at all.
5. It still may well be that the oligarchy will put him in a series of CATCH-22's where the only thing he can possibly do is fail--either as President or as protector of our freedoms, etc. etc. etc. I'm just glad he'll likely be in the role vs Shrillery. Her responses in a CATCH-22 desperate situation would be a LOT MORE DESTRUCTIVE than the worst Trump is likely to do.
6. He is one cool negotiator. He's demonstrated that repeatedly already in his term. We shall see how much of a load the thing with China vis a vis NK can bear--but he's sure done tons more good than the Kenyan imposter could have even imagined doing--EVEN IF he had wanted to do the USA good, which, of course, he didn't.
7. We are in far from an ideal world/reality. And he is certainly far from an ideal philosopher/king, in any Platonic sense. However, I'm increasingly impressed with his performance vs the rocks and stones of his detractors.
8. I'm beginning to believe some of the Christian prophetic sources who claim he is an authentic Christian that will end up doing the Nation great good just before the darkness descends en route to the Great Tribulation. Certainly standing up for Christians and Christianity is 180 degrees opposite what OThuga did and what Shrillery would have done. I as a Christian am greatly thankful for that. I thought it was a wonderful thing that he got the Christians released from the Egyptian prison at his initiative.
9. I don't think there's a thing I can say that will moderate your hostility toward Trump as that hostile perspective seems to be out of touch with objective facts, at some point. However, I believe that eternity will show that he did a lot more good than you are remotely willing to give him credit for.
10. Regardless . . . we are in for an E-Ticket ride the next several months to several years whether God makes Trump an instant perfect saint, or not. The realities on the global stage have been methodically crafted from hell to be increasingly horrendous. The Bible is clear about the basic script. And Trump does not have and will not have the power to change the basic script.
10.1, imho, the most he can possibly do--even with God's persistent help--is to delay the full court press rush to hell on earth in all our neighborhoods and lives. But such delays allowing more to be introduced to Yeshua, before the darkness descends, are well worth encouraging and praying for.
