The first daughter, 36, was seen leaving her house in Washington, D.C. a little after 8, wearing a $1,990 Oscar de la Renta navy dress with three-quarter sleeves and a quirky, white rope attachment around the neckline.

She paired it with white earrings, which were left to take center stage as Ivanka wore her hair in a half updo and kept the rest of her accessories minimal, finishing off her outfit only with a pair of black stilettos.

If it was a bright sunny day I would agree with wearing the hat...but it isn't...besides you can barely see her eyes..just because it goes with her outfit doesn't mean she needs to wear it.

I love the hat!! Yes, you can barely see her eyes, but she's been criticized in the past for wearing sunglasses.  Perhaps the hat is the solution!

I love Melania's entire outfit!  One of her best and the shoes and hat set off the suit giving her an extremely sophisticated, and beautiful look.  Yeppers ... Mamma Macaroni seems to be a tad jealous!   :rolling:

Perhaps, but I think the dress is absolutely hideous.  The dress would have been much classier without the bottom lace that covered her shoes and instead made it cocktail length accompanied by a pair of her awesome stilettos.

I like the dress.  I think the length is good for the formality of the occasion; if she’d worn cocktail, she might have looked underdressed compared to Macron‘s wife.  But yeah, I do want to see those gunmetal pumps.

Why does Macron always push her head forward and tighten her lips with those bug eyes?
