I just fully cut the cable. No cable TV whatsoever. Nada, zip, gone. Four set-top boxes waiting pickup, by the incompetent Frontier company. I'll bet they are bleeding customers, since buying my region from Verizon.
Saving over $100 monthly, offset against $8 for Netflix, $9 for Amazon Prime, and $25 for SlingTV. We may cancel Sling, btw.
We installed rooftop antenna. Dozens and dozens of OTA channels here in greater Lost Angeles, with antennas about 35 miles away on/near Mt. Wilson.
Besides Sling, there are already other competitors, including some free bootleg versions like MTX, which I got from the "hidden" or "secret" Roku channels.
