And how would you feel with an indescribably-corrupt, bought-and-paid-for, morally-bankrupt, old woman dying of Parkinsons...who even when young and healthy and in her prime, showed moral baseness, contempt for others and complete incompetence in her many previous prominent roles?
You pick from the choices you have. Not the choices you wish you had.
When the choice was between Robespierre and Queen Athaliah, you feel grateful if you had the option (as did I in my state)
to vote "None of These Candidates." (Codicil: None of the candidates being burped up in the primaries did a thing for me,
either.) And mourn that a nation that once chose between George Washington and John Adams has "evolved" to the point
where we had
that choice, between two people from whose lips and minds (alleged) never
once passed even
a lip-service thought about freedom, about individual rights, and about properly-construed government whose sole legitimate
business (other than protecting us from enemies actual and/or
provably iminent abroad and predators at home;
realpredators, please, not mere vicemongers) is
staying the hell out of your business, my business,
everyone's business
until or unless one would obstruct or abrogate another's equivalent rights.
