I must note that the transition isn't the well oiled static line jumper stack at the ramp, but instead the typical GOP transition team without the Congress on line and ready to dive in and get to work. Typically, the Dems have their legislation written up and ready to go anyway, but especially when they have a fellow traveler with a pen. The GOP, not so much. In fact, for the most part, not at all. Without the necessary Congressional support, without the bills going across the desk, Trump's ability to accomplish things will be limited.

He needs to clear out holdover staff until the leaks stop. The media getting things before he can announce them reeks of a level of porosity and permeability that would be the envy of a petroleum reservoir engineer, but is lethal in a policymaking environment.

As for the article, well slathered with inflammatory rhetoric (expected from a Holder holdover), there are a couple of good points, but I think they are mostly overblown.

Trump needs to seal the leaks, work with the Congress and advisors, and get something done right.

Since I have taken such a hit on this thread I will make one more very glaring observation.

Trumps ban is just like his great wall.  A minor annoyance to the Cartels and all those criminals he was going to stop.  First it was going to be a big beautiful wall and the Mexicans were going to pay.  Now its a series of wall and fence.  Just go a few miles down the road and get through the fence portion.

In the same way the ban is only an annoyance.  If you think that these terrorist organizations don't already have people who can get in based on a 7 nation ban your crazy.  Its only an annoyance.  Its even a call to jihad.  One call to the sleeper cell in any number of nations not on the ban..........

Some of the people here seem to be quite comfortable on the other side, using their talking points and biased, and even dishonest news.  In fact, have you noticed?  It's about all they do!  They use Leftist memes with disturbing regularity.  It's one thing to allow a wide range of views - but at some point - when is enough?  If a poster has vowed to double down on the use of leftist resources.......

When does it cross over into aiding the enemy?  The common enemy, those that wish to destroy our country - and have damned near done it!  Would Ronald Reagan be putting up with this?  I don't think so.  Sometimes, in an attempt to have a "big tent" - undesirables slip in - usurpers, moles, professional agitators.  I believe we have several here - just calling yourself conservative isn't enough.  Let's weigh what is actually being said and promoted and make an assessment then. 

I think this kind of "resistance" is detrimental to the President's attempt to clean up Washington DC.  It really disturbs me too.
