John McCain released a statement in response to many calling the raid a success.
"While many of the objectives of the recent raid in Yemen were met, I would not describe any operation that results in the loss of American life as a success," said McCain, the Senate Armed Services Committee chairman.
On Thursday, Taya Kyle, the widow of "American Sniper" Chris Kyle, joined "Fox & Friends" to discuss McCain's comments. She called for McCain to apologize to Owens' family.
