Media throw John Lewis' civil rights record in Trump's face
By Daniel Chaitin (@danielchaitin7) • 1/14/17 9:03 AM

Journalists piled on criticism after President-elect Trump shot back at Democratic Rep. John Lewis for questioning the legitimacy of the election, many calling attention to the fact that Lewis is a civil rights icon and seemingly ignoring the fact that Trump does not mention race in his tweets.

"Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to......mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results," Trump tweeted early Saturday. "All talk, talk, talk - no action or results. Sad!"

Actually he's (John Lewis) an idiot divider of the lowest form of life!

Why is he so much more of an authority and speaker for Civil Rights than others who don't want the continued divisions that the Democrat Plantation Owners refuse to let go of?

The media continues to hi-lite jerks like him and give very little play (none?) to these folks:

Quote
One of the biggest problems in America right now, especially in black communities, are the lack of jobs. He (Trump) has proven before that he knows how to create jobs. We are a country, the land of opportunity, not the land of entitlement.”

Brother of murdered civil rights leader endorses Trump

Quote
Charles Evers, the brother of murdered civil rights leader Medgar Evers, is endorsing Donald Trump for president.

“I believe in him first of all because he’s a businessman,” Charles Evers said, according to The Clarion-Ledger. "I think jobs are badly needed in Mississippi."

Evers's brother, Medgar Evers, was assassinated in Jackson, Miss., in 1963. His killer wasn't convicted of the murder until 1994, after multiple trials.

Charles Evers defended Trump, saying his tough immigration stance does not make him racist.

“I haven’t seen any proof of him being a racist,” said Evers. "All of us have some racism in us. Even me.”

He said Trump was a "fair" businessman who respects merit over race.

He also praised Trump's religious faith and said he hopes to meet him in person during a Monday rally in Madison, Miss.

Charles Evers, 93, also has a storied history in Mississippi’s civil rights movement, according to The Clarion-Ledger.

He served as the state’s field secretary for the NAACP, and became the first black mayor in Mississippi post-Reconstruction when elected in the town of Fayette.

Quote
I would like to see our Black young men and women get out of jail, get back to work, and get back to school,” Kind said.

“It sounds very promising, the plan that Mr. Trump is presenting for the urban community, because right now many of our urban communities are overrun with Democrat leaders – like mayors and all that kind of thing – there’s a lot of trouble in those cities.”

John Lewis Like John McLame are relics of the past and know one really gives a tinker's dam about what the think, or say anymore.  Yesterdays news.  Both should be in an old folks home enjoying the walking farts and prune juice enema's.

With Trump we finally are going to have a real conversation on race, and not a lecture.
