College 'clearly learned its lesson' from expensive lawsuit

A university that lost an extended free speech lawsuit brought by one of its professors apparently has learned its lesson and now is defending that same professor in another case over his constitutional right to express his opinion.

WND reported over the years on Professor Mike Adams’ case charging the University of North Carolina at Wilmington violated his First Amendment rights. The school was ordered to pay more than $700,000 in legal fees.

The order followed a decision for Adams on his claim he faced discrimination because of his Christian viewpoint.

Now, however, the Wilmington School is defending Adams’ speech rights.
