College rejects conservative group for anti-communist views

Samford University recently declined to recognize a prospective Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapter because of the group’s “inflammatory” anti-communist stance.

Specifically, faculty members objected to a statement in the group's founding document, the Sharon Statement, declaring that communism is the greatest threat to individual liberties.

I would guess any group or individual who espouses anti-American rhetoric is considered to be within their rights.
