NDP, Liberals make groundless allegations about violent Islamophobic attacks

Ontario NDP leader, Andrea Horwath, NDP MPPs Teresa Armstrong and Jagmeet Singh, Muslim political leaders, imams and guests celebrated on October 18, 2016 at Queen’s Park the first Islamic Heritage Month in Ontario.
In her speech at the event, Horwath, whose party championed the proclaiming of October the Islamic Heritage Month in Ontario, said that the bill was only the first step to be followed in future activities all across this province.
She also attacked “people” and entities” that “spread hatred” because they don’t acknowledge “the beauty of Islam and cited claims about Islamophobic attacks that left Muslims children with broken legs.
