Again the term "In connection with an unrelated case has me very puzzled.

That could either mean that something was uncovered during an investigation completely unrelated to the FBI’s initial investigation into Clinton’s email server and her and her staff’s handling of secret information was discovered came up with information that proves that she and they willingly mishandled and or covered up the mishandling of classified information or worse, or this unrelated case came up with something that proves something else…..

Whatever this ends up being about, this is some very scary times.

Sometimes I feel like I’m living in real time, something that will be one day written in future history books about the downfall of the American Republic.

I should stop making predictions -- this election is so bizarre it's pretty much a fool's errand anyway. Honestly don't know what to think at this point. I still the fundamentals -- female vote in particular -- are just too far on her side. Borderline "I could shoot someone in the street and my supporters wouldn't care" kind of thing.

I honestly don't think so. It's beyond interesting that Comey's letter to Congress reveals the fact that additional Clinton e-mails have shown up in "an unrelated case."

Consider what that means: the FBI is making a criminal investigation of some sort and there, smack in the middle, are a bunch of Clinton e-mails of sufficient importance to cause Comey to re-open the e-mail investigation and inform Congress of the fact.

I have to think there's something real in there -- an actual pony in the pile, if you will.

According to Dotcom, access logs of XKS (a list of everything accessed using the XKS system) never disappears, and therefore, all of Clinton’s emails accessed by the NSA will still be on the server.

On his Twitter account, Dotcom also says he knows how the XKS system works because the New Zealand government had used it to spy on him. And to provide more credence to his claim, he even says a former NSA consultant, whistleblower and another man wanted by the U.S. government — Edward Snowden — would agree with him.

Dotcom’s claim rests on the assumption, however, that the NSA certainly accessed Clinton’s emails while she was using a private server when she was secretary of state. And with WikiLeaks already releasing, in batches, all of her emails, the point Dotcom is making is that there is a way to access them without hacking.

Shouldnt need to 'hack' anything to retrieve emails which were written by govt employees. In fact its against the law to NOT have those on a govt server.

Of course the public doesnt have access to them but the FBI should. Without any of this fancy footwork and excuses they've been putting out.

The FBI has been politicized and is a corrupt organization. Nothing they do can be believed until they clean house and prosecute those inside and outside who have had a hand in the coverup.

The announcement comes as Mr. Trump has fallen behind Mrs. Clinton in most national polls and in many battleground states. Polls have been tightening in recent days, however, amid the daily release of hacked Clinton campaign emails published by WikiLeaks.

Mr. Trump seized on the F.B.I. action on Friday at a rally in New Hampshire. To cheers of “lock her up” from his supporters, Mr. Trump said: “Hillary Clinton’s corruption is on a scale we have never seen before. We must not let her take her criminal scheme into the Oval Office.”

After deriding the F.B.I. for weeks as inept and corrupt, Mr. Trump went on to praise the law enforcement agency.
