This is what Mr. Trump's  detractors simply do not understand. It is exactly because he fights like this that he is winning converts and fans across America.

I think a lot of Trump fans don't realize is that the voting base is much larger than, for lack of a better term, freeper types.

There is a lot of confirmation bias I see people engaging in on political forums where they believe all the supporters are like themselves because that's what they see, and they want mudslinging and dirty politics.

In reality though, millions upon millions of voters are not like that.

A 70 year old grandmother is not going to want to see political candidates tell people to go watch a sex tape and hear discussions about it on the news for hours on end.

A mother of a sixth grader does not want to have to explain to her son why a political candidate is telling her son to Google a sex tape and why he shouldn't.

The father of that sixth grader is not going to want to need to explain to his son he can't go around calling girls pigs.

Those same parents are not going to be happy with having to block political websites from their children because they now contain links to porn sites (that had to even be cleaned up here today too).

These are your average, every day voters. While freeper types may number in the thousands, people like that number in the millions. The more this happens, the more a line will be crossed for many of them that they aren't willing to go over.
