And what reason to we have to believe that Trump will actually fight for this.  When the chips are down and the democRATs are fighting back, is Trump going to knuckle under?  Recent experience says yes.

A man of devoted principles fights, Trump, maybe not.

Would Hillary be worse, absolutely.  But the problem with the lesser of two evils argument is that evil is guaranteed to win.

We don't know, that's true.
I'd like to think positive.

We know Hillary won't, but we do not know if Trump will, either.

I hate to say, but evil is going to win.


Not choosing won't stop this.
3rd party won't stop this, unless something REALLY big comes out about BOTH of them,and I am not sure how much more is out there that can come out, that has not already.

He sounds like he was a brave and principled man, who stood up against the progress of Nazism, even though he was unable to stop it.

The donut vs the hole - thats exactly why I supported the only constitutional conservative in the race. And why it will be so difficult for me to support the carnival barker who slandered him.

And here I agree with you completely.   Trump engaged in completely despicable attacks on Ted Cruz's honor,  intelligence,  and family.    But as bad as Trump was,  what infuriated me even more was how so many Trump supporters would endlessly repeat the false claims initiated by Trump. 


Over at Free Republic I asked  anyone to give me an example of a lie that Ted Cruz told.   Each and every claim  I shot down and demonstrated that what Cruz said was either true,  or that Ted Cruz didn't say it. 

Eventually they suspended me  because I was P*ssing people off.   


Trump ran a very dirty ugly campaign against Ted Cruz,  and even worse were his rabid fan base who literally seemed to have lost their minds with their paranoia,  claims and accusations. 



But  that was the primary and this is the general,   and now we have a real embodiment of evil as an opponent.

I see something different. Look closely at the front truck on that locomotive in the image. The front wheel of the forward truck is on one rail, the back wheel is on another. I see something going off the rails. YMMV

I AM a locomotive engineer...and you don't run a GP-38 like that.

They were good units for their time...the mid- to late-1970s; but they did have stability and other issues. 

Which is why there aren't any new four-axle locomotives made...excepting AMTRAK stuff, and they have an entirely different design.  And made by the archtypical crony-corporatist conglomerate, General Electric.

Our Trump train-wreck unfolding, is being pulled by an Electro-Motive Corp. unit.  Used to be a division of General Motors; now part of Caterpillar.

Still, it would be nice to hear some of the more stalwart Trump fans admit to the above. Don't think I've ever hear a single one do so.

Every time I think about voting for DT I can't help recalling his behavior in the primaries and the fact that he remains unrepentant to this day. Its a huge impediment.

Curious.  Your Prince and your compatriots have repeatedly told us that they did not need, nor want our support or votes in order to "win".  We were just told recently that Trump does not need us and your Trump train is so packed and powerful we have to get on board now or be run over and killed by it if we don't.

Why suddenly the effort to reach ONE #neverTrump per day when you folks repeatedly told us you did not need us or want us on your train?

I'm convinced because many of your compatriots insist that all must seig-heil your Nationalist Populist NY Liberal or be declared a traitor and suffer for it.

It's the old liberal "If it saves just one" gambit used to justify any amount of obnoxiousness, legislation, prevarication, or diminishment of Rights. It is an 'ends justify the means' concept. They have apparently adapted it as a modus operandi.

You know, I'm a business owner. I never bought a politician and I won't. I gave a Fortune 3 company a ten cent credit once because someone in their accounts payable dept. overpaid me that much. No kickbacks, no bribes, no bending rules, no substandard anything, done to spec or beyond, for the agreed on price. My subcontractors handed me an invoice and I cut them a check, on the spot, for the full invoice. The only thing I ever wanted from Government was for it to get out of the way and let us do our job.

Yes, I see Trump differently because I am a business owner. You bet I do, and what I see isn't pretty and it makes it harder for the rest of us to do business.
