The horrific accident is running on the republican ticket.
I'll probably vote for the buffoon but I'll be cursing his supporters for foisting the jerk on us and blowing the best opportunity conservatives will probably ever have to get one of their own elected the entire time.
There just aren't enough conservatives anymore.
This election proved a few things: Americans no longer believe in the American system or in themselves. They're looking for a superhero. They reject political leaders, which I think is a mistake. You don't reject mechanics because a mechanic ripped you off. You don't take your car to a carpenter to get fixed.
You look for a better mechanic. But WE...chose to look for people who had no IDEA about politics. And I don't mean "winning elections" - I mean, serious political THOUGHT. Political philosophy and guiding principles.
Three of those up there, had none of those: Fiorina, Carson and Trump. Meantime, Reagan's legitimate ideological heir, was rejected by too many - because he's "another politician." So we now instead have a man with NO guiding principles and NO idea even of what the office entails.
He's lacking something else, too - which gives him a lot in common with lifer politicians. HE LACKS MORALITY. His slanders, thrown freely, show that. His life story, once you get past the glamorous narrative, shows someone who's made a living running interference between legitimate builders and Tammany Hall. A BAGMAN.
So this guy will NOT solve the problems and will create many more.
What America craves, whether they realize it or not, is MORALITY IN PUBLIC LIFE. What they've chosen is someone who's posing as Superman. What they are getting is a FRAUD.
NONE of this would have happened had we just more informed conservative voters.
