File this under what Twitchy called “What Happens When Environmentalist Idiots Have Too Much Time on Their Hands.”  If some environmentalists have their way, land, rivers and parks would be granted personhood status with all the rights granted to, well, persons.  And, Outside Magazine reported Wednesday, the movement is actually gaining ground.

And it’s not something that’s never been done, as Devon O’Neil reports:

Lovely   We can grant personhood to inanimate objects but not to our unborn children  I weep for our country   Lord save us!

The left wants to grant personhood status to non-human entities, but deny it to aggregates of actual human beings, such as corporations.

One more good reason to disband the BLM and let the states decide how to manage the land within their borders.

Parks will be people, and people will be puddles in the pavement.
People will feel lucky, to pay to see their land which is really only collateral for open-ended debts to China. So long as they don't look at nature askew, or God forbid if they touch it, they stand a fair chance of emerging unscathed.
