Awesome picture, what town?
When [abouts] was the picture of your great-grandfather taken? The same building is there! The steps have changed, but not that much else? That's cool. Oh, and do you happen to know what's in your gg's right hand?
My mother's cousin on graduation day at Fort Rucker in 67-69ish.He was a chopper pilot in Vietnam. After his tour he left the military. His brother was a fighter pilot and had a 30 year career.
Loves me some black and white.
For a little color. My Rose of Sharon are bangin right now and will keep blooming till we get a good frost.

Love em all!My dad's hobby was photography..everywhere we were stationed he always set up his darkroom..I have hundreds of photos.
Nice flower pics @Cripplecreek ~ Do you know the name of the lily? I believe that's the one I tried to grow from seed, but nothing happened. How tall does it get?
That is an awesome picture. You have a good eye.
Michigan Lily Lilium michiganensehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilium_michiganenseThey grow 4 or 5 feet tall but they grow so well here that I have to cut them back to a couple of patches or they'll take over my whole yard. Another one of our local weeds that I like to let grow in the early summer are Oxeye daisies.I see some black eyed susan down the road that I need to bring home plus I'd like to get some Jerusalem artichokes growing.
How local roads were maintained in 1914.
I generally hesitate posting something I'm trying to get published or sell, but this is one of my showcase shots for the year (added the copyright for a bit of protection if it shows up in a google search).
