Gas Station Clerk’s Refusal To Serve Cop Sparks Boycott Call

Police say a clerk who apparently recognized a buddy arrested in the back of a Miramar police car denied service to the officer when he tried to buy a drink at the gas station.
The fallout has included a call for a national boycott, the firing of the clerk and a corporate apology, The Sun-Sentinel is reporting.
According to an incident report, the officer was denied service at about 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sunoco gas station, 1700 S. Douglas Road.
