‘Never Trump Is Officially Dead and Buried’: How Ken Cuccinelli, Mike Lee Sold Out

Ken Cuccinelli of the Senate Conservatives Fund and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) sold out grassroots conservatives so they could make a spectacle on the floor of the Republican National Convention as part of the last dying breaths of the “Never Trump” collective, which is now officially dead, Breitbart News has confirmed.

A senior Republican involved in the negotiations told Breitbart News that Cuccinelli and Lee “were given an opportunity to accept two different proposals by the RNC chairman Reince Priebus.”

“They walked away from both,” said the Republican strategist personally involved in the negotiations, someone who had friends on both sides.

Facts are facts, we had a deal for over 90 percent of what you guys claim to have wanted. Your tiny group of open borders people wanted to wrest control of the party from the RNC. No matter how you slice it, your side screwed the pooch here trying for a power grab after a deal was reached. We hold the anti's responsible for open primaries now because their stupidity and greed for power resulted in it.

I don't know where you got the idea that anyone from North Dakota is "open borders", and we are for closed primaries as well. The fact is, the status quo benefited those calling the shots, and they were willing to shut off microphones, ignore the rules, and strongarm people to keep it.

Mike Lee, Romney, McCain, Grahm, Apple CEO etc were your leaders of the anti movement not Cruz. All are open Borders cheap labor agenda people who opposed Trump's position of stopping illegals. And yes, when less then 10 percent of Establishment tools try to hijack the convention they deserve the Paul supporter treatment who tried the same tactics. You want to be angry at somebody, then look at your negotiators who had a deal to be allowed to have a clean no hassle vote and debate on their issues as well as closing the Primaries etc and screwed the pooch by wanting to take over the Party after a deal was agreed too.

Seeing as they were not called or recognized and tried to force their way -they had no right to be heard under the rules of the convention. When recognized the mike came on, Stop misrepresenting what happened, the open borders crowd attempted to take over the convention and cause chaos without following convention rules.

I think he might just stick to supporting Trump on the issues they agree on as he's already stated so. But I'm hoping he'll endorse Trump.....he certainly understands, without question, who the real enemy is in the race ahead....

Posted about my buddy chuck on twitter and its not the worst they've done.

Chuck has had his twitter account pulled on multiple occasions for spam due to alt right sites targeting him for mass complaints. I've been targeted the same way but I black literally every Trump supporter who tries to follow me. (If they can't follow me, they can't accuse me of spamming them) Chuck and others have been targeted with multiple "parody" accounts portraying him as everything from transgender to a child molester.

The saddest part of it is that they do this crap to nobodys like Chuck and myself. We're not bloggers, media personalities or politicians. We're just private citizens with opinions.

You raise an interesting point @WAC I agree with you that Cruz certainly understands, without question, that the Clintons/Socialists are the real and dangerous enemies of the United States, and that it is them we must defeat in the race ahead.

Tonight Sen. Cruz will tell us whether or not this matters enough to him to stand up, unite with Donald Trump and Mike Pence and actively join the fight for their victory.

At its highest point Cruz support did not top 25% overall in the Primary. At the Convention anti's were 12 out of 112 on the Rules committee and could not muster more then 10 % of delegates. So please do not keep spreading the myth that the antis were ever the majority nor the grass roots. The fact is it was the cheap labor establishment running the show for the anti's never the conservatives. Cruz was not your leader. Romney, Bush, McCain Liberal Tech Ceos and Establishment PACS, with liberal media support ran the antis. The sooner Cruz supporters understand they were being led by the bad guys the sooner we can get on with the business of keeping the known evil from harming us and our families with her judicial picks.
