Cruz's endorsement would have the most impact of anyone as he was Trump's biggest challenger and continues to have a huge following and his supporters are mostly #NeverTrump.  Trump made a huge mistake in attacking Ted the way he did.  If Cruz decides to endorse him or support him at all, I don't see him doing so until the convention. He is certainly under absolutely no obligation to Trump. I forsee the MSM interviewing Cruz at the convention and asking him if he endorses Trump ... my hunch is he will continue to avoid endorsing him and say something to the effect that he supports the GOP against Hillary and wishes Donald well.

Proving that there are good reasons a smart candidate doesn't even use the crude tactics trump used in the primaries on the candidate from the other party in the general. They create the opposite of goodwill and that's never a good thing.

While trump might finally be realizing this many of his followers still seem to not understand the depth of anger most Cruz supporters are feeling. It's not hard to figure out.

We got one here that is proud of being "Sick of Social conservatives and Bible Thumpers."

I am sick of bible thumpers, who are phony christians....though certainly not tired of genuinely spiritual Christians. I am sick of socons who think they have the right to veto candidates if they do not come from within their faction of the party. So two very different cases than what you stated with your simplistic, and dishonest, statement. I thought as a Christian you were supposed to be truthful...so by your own words, which were intentionally deceptive, you've actually definined the difference between bible thumper and true Christian. I could not have asked for a better illustration.

I would be shocked if Cruz came out and supported Trump.

Why should he?

Exactly.  There is no advantage whatsoever for Ted Cruz in supporting Trump.  The only thing he should do in this election is attack Hillary when needed.

Donald Trump will be a joke after the election and Ted Cruz should still be a viable candidate for the future.
Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain.

They don't have to change the rules.  Any delegate can vote their conscience on the first round.  They don't need to have "grounds".

It's done.  The primaries are OVER.  Trump is the nominee.  He will be running against Hillary Clinton.

You either support him, or you support her.  There's no longer any getting around this @Texas Yellow Rose

ENOUGH!

That's not how the rules work.  I'm not saying I believe anything in the rules will be changed substantially enough to dump the trump, but there is always the possibility.

You get to choose how you vote.  You don't get to boss everyone else around.   You own Trump.  I never will.  Nor Hillary.

The primaries are over.  It's Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.  And, yes, if you insist on your #NeverTrump  :bs: --- then you own Hillary.

And don't bother to argue with me on this---the truth about your choice will not change.

Primaries are over, but convention is now.  Whether you like it or not, the rules allow a , I'll call it a "path to dismissal".

Funny thing about dishonesty. Claims of it coming from you look exactly like projection.

Snowflake, you are under the mistaken impression that the GOP is entitled to my vote. You are as always, wrong. You are also under the impression that you get to define Christianity and conservatism according to the Gospel of Trump Today (subject to change by the hour). You are under a false premise there as well.

The best thing you and your cohorts in reality aversion could do is put me on ignore because as long as you keep spewing nonsense, I'll keep showing you for what you are. And as we see here, just as we saw on FR, I'm REALLY good at it. Aside from my legendary modesty, it's probably my best feature.

So when you can show the class, with FACT, a solitary bit of dishonesty in my post, then have at it. Look here, look on FR. Look wherever you'd like. Because I'm pretty consistent in my positions and in my facts. And I don't wear my Christianity on my sleeve like many do.

Seriously?  Here's what's "so what?"---The primaries are over.  Continue to be on the #NeverTrump team and you're working for Hillary's victory.

That's what's "so what".

*big ol' box of rocks*

A box of rocks.

That reminds me of Charlie Brown on Halloween...

"Who did you get for your candidate?"

"I got a Hillary!"

"I got Gary Johnson!"

"I got a Trump."

*sad trombone*

Halloween is a great analogy. You have a bunch of people dressed up as 'conservatives' pretending to be authorities who think Trump's word is law. And they think their opinons on anything matter outside their masks.

Like children in Halloween costumes, it's fun to watch for a while, but at the end of the day they were still just pretending to be fictional creatures.
