You know how it is when you wake up in the morning with a cotton tongue, a pounding head, knots in your stomach and a two in bed? Where you slip out so fast you finish getting dressed outside, leaving her your least favorite friend's number on the dresser?

I know from experience. There is something far, far worse.

Slitting one eye open at a slight morning noise, and watching her do that ....

Yeah, it's those 2-3 day later phone calls, when you both put on the game face, and say something along the lines of,"Well, We had a good time, but I don't think this is going to work out".
