My goodness, Sanguine, did you see Cruz's numbers in the five primaries yesterday?   As John Podhoretz said this morning, "It isn't only that the not-Trump vote is failing to coalesce around Cruz; he's going backwards".    Cruz is done if he can't win Indiana,  and how can Trump's blowout wins in five states not impact how that race will go? 

Kasich will leave Cruz alone in Indiana,  giving Cruz the one-on-one he wants.   But even if Kasich had withdrawn from the primaries yesterday,  Cruz still wouldn't have stopped Trump.

I am becoming increasingly resigned to the reality that Trump will need to be stopped in November.

But I'm also not sure we can survive 4 years of Trump.  I see him as basically a Rockefeller Republican with a foul mouth.  Not only do I think he's likely to start a trade war and crash the economy,, but he'll do it under the mantle of the Republican Party, and we will get the blame.  And since he's basically running against the GOP Congress as well, he makes it more likely that we'll lose that too.

I will never vote for Hillary, but if Trump remains who he has shown himself to be during this campaign, I won't vote for him either.

If Hillary wins, we not only lose the SCOTUS for 20 to 40 years, we'll even more importantly lose the 2nd Amendment. That my friend would be the beginning of the end.

Neither Trump nor Hillary are seeking this nations best interest......the only difference is Trump leads the corporate investor activists to fill their pockets.... and Hillary's the current sitting politicians. ....... The way I see it is Trump has no track record to look at whereas Hilary was a long one. We are at a stage in the politics where both major parties are about the same. Not the voters, the parties.

In order to break this spell they have over the electorate, we must find someone to who can work some magic out side the box. Trump might not be that person but, he's not beholden to either party or the lobbyists.

I didn't vote for Trump in the TX primary but, it's fairly clear that Cruz isn't going to be the nominee. Since both of these candidates claim to be anti-establishment and have garnered most of the votes, I'm pretty confident most of them want what I was describing...a revolution of sorts in the political process.

I feel that if we lose this opportunity, it won't be available later. This current generation mostly believes socialism is the way forward. We need to change their minds NOW!
