Girl vodka. :)

Fruit don't belong in booze. I don't even like it when they bring me a beer with a lemon wedge sitting on top.

Cognac comes from grapes.  Grape flavoring is not added to pretty it up.

She had a lot of promise back in 2008.  It's embarrassing to see how much of that promise she's wasted.

She blew it big time. Also she blew it. Not the GOPe.

"The EstablishmentTM is the current boogeyman..."

When I was a girl in the late 60s, the "establishment" were the good guys.  You know the law-biding, God fearing, rule followers.  The "anti establishment' were the draft card burners, druggies and libertines who called returning Viet Nam vets baby killers.  The "anti-establishment of the 60s spawned the liberals of today.  I guess some people need a boogeyman to put fear in them.  The "Establishment" is the not the one they should be fearing.

You have to understand this: the Anti Establishment folks on Talk Radio needs this divisiveness to keep on going.. Good for ratings.

As a whole, our psyche is not functionally different than any others.  We need demons.  We need to be victimized in some fashion.  We need to throw penalty flags even if we don't know precisely who we are throwing them at.

And this tendency or weakness can be exploited.

I'm going to have to think about this, Lando.  Is that true of all or most of us, or just a manipulable few?

That is correct, having said that I refuse to be a victim..

Well, everyone except you and me S.  LOL.

We are all vulnerable to it, to be sure.

I don't expect talk radio to be an echo chamber, when the GOP does something wrong they should be called on it.

You're probably right.  I just wonder if it's learned behavior (particularly in this day and time) or innate behavior.

If we're not pissed off about government, we'll turn the tuner to the oldies station.

They have to keep us pissed off.

Exactly.. Having said that I'm pissed off a lot of talk shows I don't listen to talk radio as much. The only show that I listen to regularly is the Michael Medved show.

Hey, me too.  My wife and  just bought all his CDs about American History, the five big lies about business and government, and his briliant analysis of the Israeli-Palestinian mess. Medved is fair, invites criticism (which he always deftly handles), and is rational.  No emotionalism or worry about his ratings.

The rest are just agitators. Limbaugh, Ingraham, Hannity and Levin are the worst.

I like Howard Stern.

Haven't listened to Stern in ages. Last I listened he had gone down to 3 live shows a week. It mostly him talking about him and Barf Ostrosky. Then the weekly cycling of porn stars. not worth the money IMO.

Do you listen to Dennis Prager at all?  I find him much more rational than Medved.

A better shot at the audience that is obviously in pain - at 5 seconds into the clip and again at 1:18 min, where a lady is actually laughing.

Too much fluffy stuff from Prager.  Does he still have his "marriage hour" and "women's hour"?   Too much like Dr. Laura.

"Fluffy stuff"?  I don't find it so.
