That comment, one which I have referred to in the past, was another indicator that Fauci could not be trusted, that he was lying about the origin of the virus, and the attacks on Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin were to keep the treatments from being used (because use=data on actual efficacy if used as recommended) so some other treatment could be approved under emergency conditions (with a minimum of testing and absent liability).
But tying down any pandemic to happen within a 4-8 year period implies some control over the release of the pathogen.
