WASHINGTON, D.C.—A dangerous and radical religious group has gathered outside the Supreme Court building
to demand the right to sacrifice their children. These religious extremists have shown no signs that they can be
reasoned with or that they have any intention of backing down.

"This is a deeply held religious belief of ours. If we can not sacrifice children according to our beliefs, then our
rights are being infringed upon," said Sabrina Murlock, leader of the fringe religious cult. "We are willing to do
anything that's necessary to protect our sacred rite of child murder."

"Despite having absolutely no science to back up our claim, we hold this belief no matter what, as a matter of
faith," continued Sabrina dogmatically. "We must always be allowed to practice this sacrament. A sacrament
that washes away all our responsibility, and grants us the ability to pursue our own personal goals freely."

According to sources, the radical religious group stayed up chanting and gnashing their teeth throughout the
night. They say that if their prayers and religious demands are not heard, the law will be taken into their own
hands and the whole system will be torn down.

At publishing time, the crazed zealots stormed the Supreme Court building and razed it to the ground. President
Biden refused to denounce their actions, calling it a "mostly peaceful" free expression and that their utter
destruction was a fundamental part of their protected religious speech.

AFAIK, they are not considered endangered, no protections have been codified, they are not considered game, so they must be varmints...I don't think a bag limit applies.

My wife would 'volunteer me' to fix, install, and paint things for people she knew. Installing a new car sound system, setting up an entertainment center, and installing cable were the most common. This was all without warning of any kind. I would get home after work with some strange car in the driveway. She would dismissively say, 'Oh yea, that's Tilly. She needs you to XYZ whatever.' No way to stop her from doing this. Because for her, it was nothing and it increased her popularity.

So, I got sneaky about it. There were two ways. First, I started taking forever. I would take two or three days to do a job which takes an hour. Finally, I started doing whatever job my wife volunteered me for, about 90%. It would work, but there would always be some little irritant that would drive them crazy.

After a month of peace I asked my wife what was going on? Turns out word had spread among her friends that I am unreliable. They didn't want me anymore. What a shame.

I have always being somewhat handy with tools, but after a while I learned the value of the word "No". MY MIL and SIL used to get around that by asking my wife to ask me to do things. It didin't take me too long to catch on to their game. After the third or fourth time I told my wife thqa when they called her response was to be "I don't know if he can, you will have to ask him" and she would pass the phone to me.

My nephew's wife was complaining about having a dual major bachelors' degree and not being able to find serious gainful employment. I asked what her majors were, thinking I might be able to be of assistance. When she told me "Dance Theory", and "Interpretive Dance", they both got upset when I began to snicker and replied "Good Luck with that". Last I heard she was working as a bartender. I expect she will be running for Congress soon.
