I've been saying that since I first learned to speak in the early 60's. It's only recently that I've felt a need actually utter the words. It's breathtaking, and not in a good way.
It illustrates the abject danger in letting any action have such scope as to be global, and the danger inherent in letting a few dominate a scientific discussion by censoring opposing voices and marginalizing others expert in their field.
That lesson carries over to other fields, most notably, the Climate debate, in which opposing voices to the narrative have been censored and marginalized as well. .
