What happens if Hillary is indicted before the General Election?

To add a new note to this tune,let's talk about Bubbette!and what is going on with her,the Obomber administration,and what is happening with Sanders?

Anyone else noticed one of her aides in the State Dept classified documents fiasco has now accepted immunity in exchange for his testimony,and that the alleged Obomber Justice Dept is not denying a Grand Jury has been convened to investigate her for criminal charges?

Indicting a Dim presidential candidate,and the one favored to win at that,during the primary season is unheard of. Having a Clinton face an actual Grand Jury not made of of US Senators doesn't even seem possible. Yet this is what seems to be happening if the news reports are right.

What happens if she is indicted before the General election? Will she be forced to step down and the whole process stop while the Dims have another primary?

What are the chances this is the Obomber Administrations plan to stay in office beyond 8 years? Is this HIS "I doan need no stinking term limits!" move?

 It IS HIS Justice Department doing the investigating,and there is no way in hell any Justice Dept official is going to file charges against her or follow up on them without WH permission. They would end up losing their careers and their pensions,and they know it.

Or would it mean that sock puppet Joe Biden would step in as an intern President until a new one could be elected if she is forced to step down before being sworn in?

The Speaker of the House? Since the current speaker is a Republican,this seems unlikely.

How about Sanders? Does anyone have any predictions about how the DNC is going to go about pulling all his college age airhead supporters behind an indicted Hillary Clinton? Or can Congress force the Dims to accept Sanders as their Presidential candidate to replace Bubbette if the indictment comes down before the election?

Seems to me our whole system of government seems to be collapsing all around us.

All I have is questions and speculation,no answers.

Does anyone know what the Constitution has to say about any of this?

I hope not. Back when the Constitution was first written only citizens who were property owners and paid taxes could vote. They had no idea of what type critters we would allow to vote these days.

The law is pretty clear.

If she were indicted AND convicted between election day itself and being sworn in, her running mate would take over from her as president elect and pick a VP to their liking - there is no real requirement to vote for VP.

If between the convention and election day, it's much less clear who'd be the actual candidate. That would be fun to watch!

Before the convention - the DNC will put whoever they wish in to replace her. Superdelegates are wonderful things.

An indictment isn't a conviction, it's an indictment. Once she's elected it will take impeachment & conviction to get her out of there.

You are right about the Super Delegate thing,though. The Dims should go ahead and quit pretending,and just let the DNC announce who the next Dim presidential candidate will be,and be done with it. What the voters think doesn't matter when push comes to shove. The DNC is just being polite by letting them think they matter.

I am still of the opinion that this is all part of the cover-up.  The grand jury, if there is one, is there to give Lynch cover for not indicting.  She can say she presented the evidence and they failed to indict.  All part of the scheme to whitewash her heinous.
