I ran across this yesterday at a blog I like to read, and I actually sat and watched the whole thing.
I didn't watch Dick Cavett back in the day, so this was probably fairly normal for his show, but it's really thought provoking. 46 years ago!

I used to watch Cavett a lot. I admired his intellect.
Not too impressed with him now, but he did some good stuff back in the day.
