New Palestinian terror theme: Water ground with blood
'Teach children that there is a seed' there
Published: 12 hours ago

For weeks, the slash and stab theme has dominated Palestinian social media.

A new one now is emerging: Water the ground “with blood.”

The report comes the Palestinian Media Watch organization, which monitors, reports on and analyzes developments in the Palestinian media, including social media.

According to its new report, “The Facebook page of official spokesman of the PA Security Forces Adnan Al-Damiri posted a message from Fatah Shabiba youth movement to children that the way to succeed in ‘revolution’ against Israel is to ‘water it with blood.’”

The message said, “Teach your children to love the land. Teach them that we live a life of suffering. Teach them that there is a seed in the ground. If they water it with blood, a revolution will flower. Teach them that Fatah is the eternal revolution. That the ‘storm’ is the blade of the intifada, and that the Shabiba are the knights of the rocks.”

There also was a Fatah cartoon portraying “the spilling of Palestinian blood as an integral part of the Palestinian fight.”

“The cartoon suggests that no matter how many Palestinians are killed, and how much blood is shed, a new Palestinians will take their place and fight against Israel,” the report said.

Also, from Mahmoud Abbas’ presidential guards came a Facebook post promotiong martyrdom and having one’s blood shed for “Palestine,” the report said.

“The motif of willingly shedding one’s blood for Palestine and the presentation of this act as an ideal are common in PA and Fatah discourse, as Palestinian Media Watch has reported. Martyrs’ blood is sometimes referred to in an almost cult-like manner…,” the report said.

One Fatah branch, Hani Ja’ara, recently issued the statement, “As a sign of respect for the blood of the martyrs who ascended … in the popular uprising, the {Fatah] movement will visit the families of the martyrs, prisoners, and injured out of loyalty and appreciation for the sacrifice they have made…”

The report continued, “Even PA Chairman Abbas referred to spilled blood as sacred when he encouraged Palestinians to spill their blood to defend Al-Aqsa against the Jews and their ‘filthy feet,’” the report said.

WND reported recently on the slasher theme on Palestinian Facebook and other social media pages

“The current Palestinian terror wave is an excellent example of how the Palestinian population has responded to the leadership’s message,” PMW reported. “Mahmoud Abbas and other PA leaders sparked the current terror and violence by frequently reiterating the PA libel that Israel is planning to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and they called on Palestinians to ‘defend it,’ ‘bless[ed] every drop of blood spilled’ for it, ‘congratulated’ the murderers and much more.

“Responding to the call, and following the praise and support from PA and Fatah leaders, among them Abbas, who referred to stabbings as ‘peaceful popular uprising,’ Palestinians are – independent of the leadership – inciting to murder on social media, including encouraging people to slit the throats of Jews, and committing murder themselves,” the report said.

The blades are all over. In one video, a tiny girl saves a foot-long knife and shouts, “Stab! Stab! Stab! Stab! Stab!” to the question of what she would tell Palestinians in the West Bank.

See the video:

PMW reported that another Facebook feature in the Palestinian community shows a staged stabbing of two Jews.

The video portrays two "Jews" harassing several children playing in the streets, and "in revenge, a young Palestinian ambushes them, stabs one and slits the throw of the other, killing them both."

Another includes video clips of real – and violent – stabbing attacks on Jews.

The music video's lyrics include, "Let fear come down on them, and let death come for them in a flash. Children of Zion, tell of the swords that were openly plunged in you."

WND had reported only weeks ago on another video featuring a toddler and the stabbing theme:

It looks like a typical cute toddler video posted online: a little girl standing in the family residence being coached by someone off screen.

Then you notice the long carving knife she's holding, and her voice jars.

"I want to stab a Jew," she says.

This was uncovered by the Middle East Media Research Institute.
