Little town of Bethlehem Muslims did not celebrate Christmas peacefully
By Ethel C. Fenig

The Christian population of Muslim occupied Bethlehem, which Christians revere as the birthplace of Jesus, has dropped significantly in recent years, its population driven out by violent discrimination and poor future prospects, with Muslim Arabs as the dominant majority now comprising over 85% of the population.   However the Muslims encourage Christian tourism to the town, especially during Christmas, as a source of revenue and employment, with most of the souvenir shops and hotels owned by Muslims.

But the Muslims don't really practice much good will towards their Christian guests which tellingly isn't reported by most of the media.  And this year was no exception.  According to the Times of Israel, during the recently celebrated festivities and religious services

The car taking Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Fouad Twal, head of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land, was struck Friday, Christmas Day, in Bethlehem by rocks thrown by Palestinian rioters.

None of the passengers in the patriarch’s vehicle was injured in the incident, but his car sustained damage, according to a Ynet news report. (snip)

Meanwhile, Palestinian security forces said Friday that they arrested two suspected Islamic radicals for burning a Christmas tree in the northern West Bank.

A Palestinian security officer said Friday the suspects set fire Wednesday to the tree in Zababdeh, a village near Jenin populated mainly by Christians. The officer spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to speak to reporters. (snip)

He also said Palestinian security forces arrested Wednesday about a dozen suspected radical Islamists in Bethlehem. (snip)

According to the report, the group are Salafi radicals who were preparing to carry out a terror attack against Western tourists arriving in Bethlehem to celebrate Christmas there.

Ironically, Twal is very anti Israel but that didn't stop the terrorists.

But all of these hate filled actions didn't prevent terrorist Mahhmoud Abbas, aka Abu Mazen, now into his 10th year of a four year term as president of the terrorist Palestinian Authority, from injecting politics and lies into a religious Christmas eve service.  He attended a midnight mass with Twal where he praised Palestinian Christians for their role in creating a “rich and diverse society.”

“This year, we witnessed more churches around the world supporting the call for recognition of the State of Palestine, and an increasing number of Christian groups campaigning to divest from companies that profit from the Israeli occupation of our land,” Abbas said.

Also definitely not in the Christmas spirit, while not burning Christmas trees like their neighbors, Bethlehem Muslims decorated one for their visitors--with ornaments bearing the faces of dead Muslim terrorists.

Used tear gas canisters used by Israeli soldiers instead of bullets to quell Muslim riots, not so festively adorned another tree.

There will be a smaller scale version of these celebrations on January 6 for the Eastern 0rthodox Christians who follow the Julian calendar.

Merry Christmas season to the remaining Christians in Bethlehem.
