You are right but for that moment of LOSING and having your district whom they think they OWN kick them out of office is PRICELESS. Replace Eddie Munster with a person like Dave Brat who took over Cantor district would be great. Cantor and Boehner will make a fortune out of the public eye BUT they will always be known as SCUMBAGS they really are and they or their family have to live with that. TED Kennedy comes to mind and even with all the money and power he had he was a very unhappy person and DEM scumbags as most view him.

Ryan's not going anywhere any time soon.  Getting a candidate to challenge him (and he's well-funded) at this late date will be very difficult.  Wisconsin primary is April 5.

Plus, his Republican district has re-elected him 8 times.  And will likely re-elect him a 9th time.

What's needed in his district is an "anyone but Ryan" campaign.

Doesn't matter whether the "anyone" is a democrat, Republican, something else.

The object is to elect ANYONE other than Ryan. A democrat would be an improvement.

This worked spectacularly against Speaker of the House Tom Foley in 1994...

Dave Brat was running against Eric Cantor a year before the primary.

Lobbying is part of what contributes to our broken system. But I wouldn't expect a Rubio-rubber to understand that.

If the issue was simply free speech, there is no problem.  The problem becomes the enormous amounts of campaign donations, exotic travel, free watches and swimming pools that are tied directly to the free speech that make it the problem.

Our legislative/executive/and judicial branches are dealing with things they know absolutely nothing about.  Cyber security, medical issues, radar invisible aircraft and they need outside consultants to help all the lawyers figure out what the hell needs to be done.  The consultants are not providing unbiased information, they are guiding these folks down the prim rose path to sole source contracts to benefit the consultants and their companies.
