Investigators on Fort Bragg are seeking information on how a civilian was able to live in the barracks assigned to the post’s 3rd Special Forces Group.
The group spokesman confirmed a civilian was found living in the barracks, and the individual was reported to Fort Bragg’s Provost Marshal’s Office.
No other details were provided due to the pending investigation, but the incident was being talked about extensively on social media.
U.S. Army W.T.F Moments, a Facebook group with a large following, posted additional information on the subject, mainly that the civilian used a fake identification card to maintain access to the post.
Details about the identity of the man in question or potential charges have not been released by Fort Bragg officials.
