NFL Goes A Month Without A Player Arrest For First Time Since 2009

Ross Kelly, CBS Local Sports

Some headlines need a little more explaining than what’s given. The above headline doesn’t fall into that category.

Mike Rosenberg of the Reuters tweeted out Thursday a momentous occasion: September was the first calendar month since 2009 that no active NFL player was arrested:

Rosenberg also had several other related items that he tweeted out:

If you have some time to spend and want to amuse yourself, go to those URLs and scroll through the comments related to each tweet. Some are hilarious while some are depressing. But if you’re a fan of Cris Carter, you may not want to take a look at the comments #Fallguy.

Can the players make it back-to-back months and go through all of October without an arrest. Seeing as October has 31 days and September only has 30 days, we may be asking for too much.
