Tigris Operations Commander Lt. Gen. Abdul-Amir al-Zaidi announced on Thursday, that his forces have killed more than 100 foreigners during liberation operations of ISIS strongholds in Diyala province, pointing to the death of nearly 200 others from various Arab nationalities.

Tigris Operations Commander Lt. Gen. Abdul-Amir al-Zaidi announced on Thursday, that his forces have killed more than 100 foreigners during liberation operations of ISIS strongholds in Diyala province, pointing to the death of nearly 200 others from various Arab nationalities.
Zaidi said that his forces “backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia managed to kill more than 100 foreigners, most of them carrying European-Asian nationalities,” noting that, “the majority of those killed were leaders in ISIS.”
“ISIS carried out more than 40 suicide attack against the security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia during liberation operations, but did not succeed in stopping the progress of our forces, ” Zaidi added.
