Dr. Danielle N. Lee, who writes for the Scientific American blog network and calls herself “the Urban Scientist,” believes that the push to visit Mars and eventually inhabit it is “white colonialism.”

Dr. Lee expressed her concerns in both the Scientific American blog and on Twitter. Writing in Scientific American in an article titled, “When discussing Humanity’s next move to space, the language we use matters,” Dr. Lee discusses Elon Musk’s push to inhabit Mars some day.

She is very critical of Musk, saying that his language is not inclusive enough to either women and minorities. “Diversity, Inclusion, Access and Ethics should be a critical part of these conversations about space science, discovery, exploration, and yes eventual travel and emigration,” she writes. “And when we look around and see a homogenous [sic] group of individuals discussing these issues – issues that command insane budgets, we should pause.”

It's stuff like this that makes me hate the internet. People like this Lee woman have always been out there. Unfortunately, now they get a voice.

I was much happier thinking that human waste such as Danielle Lee didn't exist.

Perhaps we ought to send as many black people as possible there in advance just to avoid the appearance of racism.  :whistle:

The way things are moving today, the very idea that a person would dare to be White and intelligent is in itself 'racist'. Everything is 'racist'. There is nothing and no way to not be racist. It is impossible. And the Blacks know it very well.

That is exactly how they constructed the argument and that is exactly how they want it. And, unfortunately, because there are so many deeply stupid White Liberals, the game is working.

The sad part is what the left has done to race relations in just 3 generations, as exemplified by this terribly bewildered doctor.

The democrats' employment of racial grievance as a political tool for staying in power managed to induce a sort of a mass Stockholm syndrome in the very people who should be celebrating the freedom and opportunity available to them as a part of this wonderful society.

 This is truly distressing.

This is something that MLK has preached against.. He would be aghast in what is going on.
