Man Arrested For Having Almost 400 POUNDS Of Weed In His Car

A man was arrested in Chicago, Ill., Saturday for having more than $1 million dollars worth of marijuana in his car.

Police stopped James Hargett for a traffic violation around 7 p.m. Saturday night. Hargett, 37, fled in his vehicle before leaving the car and trying to escape on foot, NBC Chicago reports.

 
Officers found Hargett hiding under a porch and arrested him. They then searched his car, where they discovered 386 pounds of marijuana, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

He is due in bond court Sunday and has been charged with a felony possession of over 5,000 grams of marijuana.

From what I have read about this, apparently his attorney is planning to plead that it was only for personal use.
